NCERT Clarifies 9th Maths Syllabus, Adds Algorithm Chapter

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued a clarification regarding its draft syllabus for 9th-grade mathematics. NCERT stated that the previously released syllabus was a preliminary draft intended to gather feedback, with the final version to be released in October. Contrary to some discussions, no topics have been removed from the 9th-grade maths syllabus. Instead, an algorithm chapter has been added to align with the needs of Artificial Intelligence, reflecting the integral role of mathematics in modern AI development.
