Rasheed Ahammed as Pro-Vice-Chancellor. The department questioned how Ahammed was relieved from his teaching position at an aided institution and appointed on deputation without prior government sanction. Syndicate members have alleged procedural irregularities and demanded the Vice-Chancellor's resignation, seeking a vigilance probe into the matter. The Registrar stated that an explanation would be submitted soon, along with a request for deputation approval.
