Sonam Wangchuk Demands Inquiry Into Leh Violence

Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk demanded the public release of findings from the judicial inquiry into last year's deadly violence in Leh, stating justice must be served to Ladakh. A complete shutdown was observed in Leh on Shaheed Diwas to remember four people killed during the September 24, 2025 agitation. Wangchuk alleged suppression of truth and potential communal riot incitement. He warned of forming a People's Tribunal if the inquiry report is not released.

सोनम वांगचुक ने लेह हिंसा की जांच की मांग की

पर्यावरणविद् सोनम वांगचुक ने लेह में पिछले साल हुई हिंसक घटनाओं की न्यायिक जांच की रिपोर्ट सार्वजनिक करने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि लद्दाख को न्याय मिलना चाहिए। शहीद दिवस पर लेह में पूर्ण बंद रहा, ताकि 24 सितंबर 2025 को आंदोलन के दौरान मारे गए चार लोगों को याद किया जा सके। वांगचुक ने सच दबाने और सांप्रदायिक दंगे भड़काने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि अगर रिपोर्ट जारी नहीं हुई तो वे पीपुल्स ट्रिब्यूनल बनाएंगे।
