A significant shortage of over 6,300 metric tonnes of government paddy, valued at approximately ₹23.03 crore, has been discovered at Shiva Parboiled Industries in Telangana's Yadadri-Bhongir district. The discovery was made during an inspection by Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited officials to verify stocks for the Kharif 2025-26 season. Police have registered a case against the mill's owners, Gampa Nagender and Manchala Ravinder, for suspected illegal diversion.
