Residents of Bengaluru's Rudrappa Layout can finally breathe a sigh of relief as road asphalting work has commenced on a 1.5km stretch. The work began after a two-year wait, following the roads being dug up for the Cauvery project. The issue gained attention after an engineer-entrepreneur posted a video highlighting the poor road conditions, tagging local leaders. The Times of India had also previously reported on the residents' plight. The commencement of work brings an end to the long-standing inconvenience faced by the community.

बेंगलुरु के रुद्रप्पा लेआउट के निवासियों को आखिरकार 1.5 किमी सड़क पर डामरीकरण का काम शुरू होने से राहत मिली है। कावेरी परियोजना के लिए सड़कें खोदी जाने के दो साल के इंतजार के बाद यह काम शुरू हुआ है। स्थानीय नेताओं को टैग करते हुए खराब सड़क की स्थिति को उजागर करने वाला एक वीडियो पोस्ट करने के बाद यह मुद्दा सामने आया। टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया ने भी पहले निवासियों की दुर्दशा पर रिपोर्ट दी थी। काम शुरू होने से समुदाय को लंबे समय से हो रही असुविधा का अंत हो गया है।
