Surat police have registered an FIR after a viral WhatsApp message threatened arson unless labour union leader Ajay Dubey was released. The accused, Mahesh Singh, allegedly sent messages demanding Dubey's immediate release and threatening violence. One message stated, "Release Ajay Dubey as soon as possible, otherwise there will be a matchbox and Rs 150 worth of petrol." The messages are believed to be intended to create fear and intimidate the public. Police are investigating the source of the messages and examining digital evidence.

सूरत पुलिस ने एक वायरल व्हाट्सएप मैसेज के बाद FIR दर्ज की है जिसमें मजदूर नेता अजय दुबे की रिहाई की मांग न मानने पर संपत्ति जलाने की धमकी दी गई थी। आरोपी महेश सिंह पर आरोप है कि उसने दुबे की तत्काल रिहाई की मांग करते हुए और हिंसा की धमकी देते हुए संदेश भेजे। एक संदेश में कहा गया था, "अजय दुबे को जल्द से जल्द रिहा करो, नहीं तो माचिस और 150 रुपये का पेट्रोल तैयार रखना।" माना जा रहा है कि इन संदेशों का मकसद डर पैदा करना और जनता को धमकाना था। पुलिस संदेशों के स्रोत की जांच कर रही है और डिजिटल सबूतों की जांच कर रही है।
