Uttar Pradesh DGP Rajeev Krishna has directed police to adopt a zero-tolerance approach to crime and ensure no fatalities occur during the festive season. He emphasized strengthening beat policing, cracking down on repeat offenders, and responding swiftly to all criminal incidents. The directive also includes enhancing intelligence gathering, increasing police visibility, and utilizing technology like the Yaksh application for information sharing. Special focus is placed on preventing accidents during idol immersions and bathing events, with a target of zero deaths from drowning or electrocution.

उत्तर प्रदेश के डीजीपी राजीव कृष्णा ने पुलिस को अपराध के प्रति जीरो टॉलरेंस अपनाने और त्योहारों के दौरान किसी भी मौत को रोकने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने बीट पुलिसिंग को मजबूत करने, आदतन अपराधियों पर नकेल कसने और सभी आपराधिक घटनाओं पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करने पर जोर दिया। इस निर्देश में खुफिया जानकारी जुटाने, पुलिस की मौजूदगी बढ़ाने और जानकारी साझा करने के लिए Yaksh ऐप जैसी तकनीक का उपयोग करने का भी उल्लेख है। मूर्तियों के विसर्जन और स्नान जैसे आयोजनों के दौरान दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया है, जिसका लक्ष्य डूबने या बिजली के झटके से शून्य मौतें हैं।
