Five Men Arrested Near RAF Base

Five men were arrested on Sunday morning on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, southern England. Police responded to calls about suspicious vehicles travelling towards the air base. The incident is being investigated by Counter Terrorism Policing. Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated the government would take necessary steps to protect the public. Approximately 85 households in the nearby village of Whelford were advised to evacuate.

रविवार सुबह दक्षिणी इंग्लैंड के ग्लॉस्टरशायर में RAF Fairford के पास आतंकवादी कृत्य की तैयारी के संदेह में पाँच लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। पुलिस को एयर बेस की ओर संदिग्ध वाहनों के बारे में कॉल आई थी। इस घटना की जाँच Counter Terrorism Policing कर रही है। प्रधानमंत्री Andy Burnham ने कहा कि सरकार जनता की सुरक्षा के लिए ज़रूरी कदम उठाएगी। पास के Whelford गाँव के लगभग 85 घरों को खाली करने की सलाह दी गई थी।
