Shraddha Dubey, the prime accused in the death of Shiva Sharma, appeared in a video denying murder allegations. She claims Sharma died by suicide and questioned why CCTV footage had not been released. Police have doubled the reward for information leading to her arrest to ₹50,000, as they pursue leads including a suspected Nepal link. Dubey's SUV was found abandoned near the India-Nepal border, strengthening suspicions of her travel in that direction. An SHO was removed amid the ongoing investigation.
