Chainsaw Attack Victim Undergoes Complex Surgeries, Condition Stable

A 15-year-old girl, grievously injured in a chainsaw attack at her school in Anantapur, India, has undergone complex orthopaedic and plastic surgeries. Doctors at Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru performed the procedures within a critical 12-hour window after reviving her. The victim suffered deep wounds to her face, head, arm, and back. HRD minister Nara Lokesh stated the next 48 hours are crucial for her recovery and assured prompt justice. Counselling sessions have been arranged for traumatised students, teachers, and parents.

आंध्र प्रदेश के अनंतपुरम में स्कूल में चेनसॉ से गंभीर रूप से घायल हुई 15 वर्षीय लड़की का जटिल ऑर्थोपेडिक और प्लास्टिक सर्जरी हुई है। बेंगलुरु के मणिपाल हॉस्पिटल के डॉक्टरों ने उसे होश में लाने के बाद 12 घंटे की महत्वपूर्ण अवधि के भीतर ऑपरेशन किए। पीड़िता के चेहरे, सिर, हाथ और पीठ पर गहरे घाव थे। एचआरडी मंत्री नारा लोकेश ने कहा कि अगले 48 घंटे उसके ठीक होने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं और उन्होंने तुरंत न्याय का आश्वासन दिया। सदमे से गुज़रे छात्रों, शिक्षकों और अभिभावकों के लिए काउंसलिंग सत्र आयोजित किए गए हैं।
