Goldman Sachs has identified 42 Indian companies as 'AI Enablers' that are poised to benefit from the build-out of artificial intelligence infrastructure. These companies operate across sectors like power, data centres, and semiconductors. While the broader Nifty index has seen a decline, this specific cohort has experienced a significant surge of approximately 60%. Many of these are small and mid-cap firms, meaning their performance is not fully reflected in major indices. The valuations for these AI Enablers are currently high, trading at a premium due to strong earnings growth prospects.
