Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has strongly criticized Donald Trump's proposed deal to import Russian diesel, warning it will channel funds to Moscow for its war in Ukraine. Speaking at an EU summit, Zelenskyy stated the agreement risks further sanctions relief for Russia and urged European allies to increase support for Kyiv. He accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of not genuinely seeking peace, calling Moscow's negotiation approach a "parody." Zelenskyy also expressed concern that such deals could lead to further economic cooperation, including gas agreements and the lifting of more sanctions.
