Officials stated adequate relief material is available and accused some residents of stockpiling, which could hinder equitable distribution. लखनऊ के फैजुल्लागंज के बाढ़ प्रभावित मिल्लत नगर के निवासियों ने राहत सामग्री के असमान वितरण का आरोप लगाते हुए नावों पर चढ़कर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने तख्तियां ले रखी थीं जिनमें मेयर पर संकट के दौरान अनुपस्थित रहने का आरोप लगाया गया था। एक राहत शिविर में महिलाओं ने दावा किया कि आवश्यक आपूर्ति सभी प्रभावित परिवारों तक नहीं पहुंच रही है, और वितरण नावों ने कथित तौर पर केवल सुलभ क्षेत्रों को ही कवर किया है। अधिकारियों ने कहा कि पर्याप्त राहत सामग्री उपलब्ध है और उन्होंने कुछ निवासियों पर जमाखोरी का आरोप लगाया, जिससे समान वितरण में बाधा आ सकती है।
