BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the Asia Cup trophies won by India's men's and women's teams will eventually be brought to the board's headquarters in Mumbai. The trophies were left in Dubai after both teams declined to receive them from Asian Cricket Council president Mohsin Naqvi. Saikia assured their arrival at the BCCI office at Wankhede Stadium, though he did not provide a specific timeline for this.

बीसीसीआई सचिव देवजीत सैकिया ने पक्का किया है कि भारत की पुरुष और महिला टीमों द्वारा जीते गए एशिया कप के कप मुंबई स्थित बोर्ड के हेडक्वार्टर में लाए जाएंगे। ये कप दुबई में ही रह गए थे क्योंकि दोनों टीमों ने एशियन क्रिकेट काउंसिल के प्रेसिडेंट मोसिन नकवी से इन्हें लेने से मना कर दिया था। सैकिया ने वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में बीसीसीआई ऑफिस में इनके आने का भरोसा दिया है, पर कोई तय तारीख नहीं बताई।
