TMC MLA Madan Mitra Joins Rebel Faction

Trinamool Congress MLA Madan Mitra has resigned from Mamata Banerjee's faction and joined the rebel TMC group led by Ritabrata Banerjee. Mitra cited Abhishek Banerjee's refusal to step aside during the party's internal crisis as a reason for his move. This defection comes after Mitra's family was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate regarding a municipal recruitment scam investigation in West Bengal.

टीएमसी विधायक मदन मित्रा बागी गुट में शामिल

तृणमूल कांग्रेस के विधायक मदन मित्रा ने ममता बनर्जी के गुट से इस्तीफा देकर रिताब्रता बनर्जी के नेतृत्व वाले बागी टीएमसी समूह में शामिल हो गए हैं। मित्रा ने पार्टी के आंतरिक संकट के दौरान अभिषेक बनर्जी द्वारा किनारे हटने से इनकार करने को अपने इस कदम का कारण बताया। यह दलबदल मित्रा के परिवार को पश्चिम बंगाल में एक नगरपालिका भर्ती घोटाले की जांच के संबंध में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) द्वारा तलब किए जाने के बाद हुआ है।
