National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah has dismissed reports of a party split, assuring that genuine issues raised by 17 disgruntled legislators will be addressed. Following a meeting in Srinagar, Abdullah stated the party stands united and that a step-by-step approach will be taken to resolve concerns. The legislators had previously issued an ultimatum regarding issues like 'coterie culture' and cabinet representation. Abdullah also reaffirmed the party's ongoing struggle for Statehood and the restoration of Article 370 and 35A.
