While salary increases offer more income, they do not automatically translate to wealth growth if expenses and lifestyle upgrades rise proportionally. India has seen a significant shift towards financial investments, with household financial savings reaching over 15.2% of GDP in FY25. Monthly SIP contributions have surpassed ₹32,000 crore, with over 10 crore SIP accounts active. Experts advise allocating a portion of salary increments to long-term investments like SIPs to build financial capacity over time, rather than solely increasing spending.

वेतन में वृद्धि से आमदनी तो बढ़ती है, लेकिन अगर खर्चे और लाइफस्टाइल भी उसी हिसाब से बढ़ जाएं तो यह अपने आप धन वृद्धि में नहीं बदलता। भारत में वित्तीय निवेश की ओर एक बड़ा बदलाव आया है, जिसमें FY25 में घरेलू वित्तीय बचत GDP के 15.2% से अधिक हो गई है। मासिक SIP योगदान ₹32,000 करोड़ से अधिक हो गया है, जिसमें 10 करोड़ से अधिक SIP खाते सक्रिय हैं। विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि केवल खर्च बढ़ाने के बजाय, वित्तीय क्षमता बनाने के लिए वेतन वृद्धि का एक हिस्सा SIP जैसे दीर्घकालिक निवेशों में लगाना चाहिए।
