DMK Files Privilege Complaint Against TN Law Minister

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has submitted a breach of privilege complaint to the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker against Law Minister C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar. The complaint alleges that the minister provided false information during the Budget session regarding former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi. DMK MLAs stated that Kumar violated Assembly rules by negatively portraying Karunanidhi and others not present in the House, without prior intimation.

द्रविड़ मुनेत्र कड़गम (DMK) ने तमिलनाडु विधानसभा अध्यक्ष को कानून मंत्री सी.टी.आर. निर्मल कुमार के खिलाफ विशेषाधिकार हनन की शिकायत दी है। शिकायत में कहा गया है कि मंत्री ने बजट सत्र के दौरान पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एम. करुणानिधि के बारे में झूठी जानकारी दी थी। DMK विधायकों का कहना है कि कुमार ने सदन में मौजूद न होने वाले करुणानिधि और अन्य लोगों को नकारात्मक रूप से पेश करके, बिना पूर्व सूचना के विधानसभा नियमों का उल्लंघन किया है।
