Court Protects Homebuyers' Parking Rights Amid Dispute

The Maharashtra State Co-operative Appellate Court has protected the parking rights of two homebuyers whose housing society attempted to reclaim their allotted parking space. The couple purchased a flat in 2009, receiving parking space GO/26 from the builder. Later, the housing society introduced a new parking policy, claiming the area was society property. The court granted interim relief, preventing the society from taking action affecting the parking space until the trial court.
