NPPA ने 543 कैंसर-रोधी दवाओं की अधिकतम खुदरा कीमतों में कटौती की है, जो तुरंत प्रभावी है। इस कदम का मकसद पूरे भारत में कैंसर के इलाज को अधिक किफायती और सुलभ बनाना है। प्रमुख ब्रांडों की कीमतों में भारी गिरावट की उम्मीद है, जिससे मरीजों को सालाना ₹2,500 से ₹3,500 करोड़ की बचत हो सकती है। थिओटेपा, पाल्बोसिक्लिब और पर्टुजुमैब फॉर्मूलेशन में उल्लेखनीय कटौती शामिल है, जिससे कैंसर थेरेपी कराने वालों को काफी राहत मिली है। संशोधित मूल्य सूची निर्माताओं द्वारा अपनी नई मूल्य निर्धारण जानकारी जमा करने पर अपडेट की जाएगी।
