Congress Rejects TMC Alliance Proposal For Bypolls

The Congress party has rejected a proposal from TMC for an alliance in upcoming West Bengal by-elections. TMC had suggested that Congress contest the Nandigram seat while TMC would contest Rejinagar. However, the Bengal Congress unit declined the offer, aiming to rebuild its state base independently. Trinamool subsequently announced its own candidates for both Nandigram and Rejinagar, indicating a continued push for individual strength.

पश्चिम बंगाल में होने वाले उपचुनावों के लिए TMC के गठबंधन प्रस्ताव को कांग्रेस ने ठुकरा दिया है। TMC ने कहा था कि कांग्रेस नंदीग्राम से लड़े और TMC रजिनगर से। लेकिन बंगाल कांग्रेस ने यह प्रस्ताव ठुकरा दिया है। वे राज्य में अकेले दम पर अपनी पार्टी को मजबूत करना चाहते हैं। इसके बाद TMC ने नंदीग्राम और रजिनगर दोनों सीटों पर अपने उम्मीदवार घोषित कर दिए हैं।
