India Rejects Elon Musk's Claims of Starlink Entry Being Blocked

India's Ministry of Communications has rejected claims made by Elon Musk that Starlink's entry into the country is being blocked by "oligarchs" protecting their monopolies. The ministry stated that India has a fair and non-discriminatory regulatory framework for satellite communication services. It clarified that all three Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite service licensees are at the same regulatory stage, undergoing security assessments. The government asserted that suggestions of unfair or discriminatory application of the framework are baseless and misconceived.

भारत के संचार मंत्रालय ने एलन मस्क के उन दावों को खारिज कर दिया है जिनमें उन्होंने कहा था कि "ओलिगार्क्स" अपने एकाधिकार की रक्षा के लिए स्टारलिंक के देश में प्रवेश को रोक रहे हैं। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि भारत में सैटेलाइट कम्युनिकेशन सेवाओं के लिए एक निष्पक्ष और गैर-भेदभावपूर्ण नियामक ढांचा है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि सैटेलाइट द्वारा ग्लोबल मोबाइल पर्सनल कम्युनिकेशन की सेवा के सभी तीन लाइसेंसधारी सुरक्षा आकलन से गुजर रहे हैं और नियामक प्रक्रिया के एक ही चरण में हैं। सरकार ने जोर देकर कहा कि ढांचे के अनुचित या भेदभावपूर्ण अनुप्रयोग के सुझाव निराधार और गलत हैं।
