Vietnam has welcomed approximately 1 million tourists from Russia in the first eight months of 2026, marking a significant influx. Russia's Economic Development Minister, Maxim Reshetnikov, expressed interest in attracting Vietnamese tourists to Russia. He highlighted that the Russian market is also appealing to travelers from other Southeast Asian nations, indicating a mutual interest in tourism exchange between the regions.
