Gurgaon Residents Protest Two-Way Traffic Plan On Vyapar Kendra Road

Residents of Gurgaon's Sector 43, 27, and Sushant Lok-1 protested on Thursday against the GMDA's plan to make Vyapar Kendra Road a two-way street. Protesters claim the new arrangement has worsened congestion, blocked colony access, and created safety concerns. They argue the previous one-way system worked smoothly for 11 years and the current changes were made without proper planning or consultation. Police assured residents their concerns would be addressed, while GMDA stated the final decision rests with traffic police.

गुरुग्राम के सेक्टर 43, 27 और सुशांत लोक-1 के निवासियों ने गुरुवार को GMDA की व्यापार केंद्र रोड को दो-तरफ़ा बनाने की योजना के ख़िलाफ़ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों का दावा है कि नई व्यवस्था ने जाम बढ़ा दिया है, कॉलोनी का रास्ता बंद कर दिया है और सुरक्षा संबंधी चिंताएँ पैदा की हैं। उनका तर्क है कि पिछला एक-तरफ़ा सिस्टम 11 साल तक सुचारू रूप से चला और वर्तमान बदलाव बिना उचित योजना या सलाह के किए गए। पुलिस ने निवासियों को आश्वासन दिया कि उनकी चिंताओं का समाधान किया जाएगा, जबकि GMDA ने कहा कि अंतिम निर्णय यातायात पुलिस का होगा।
