WFI Seeks US Visa Reconsideration for Wrestlers Ahead of World Championships

The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is urgently seeking a visa reprieve for several Indian U-23 wrestlers whose applications were rejected by the United States. Five Greco Roman and four women wrestlers were denied entry, reportedly for being under 20 and unemployed. With the women's competition starting Wednesday in Las Vegas, the WFI hopes the US Embassy will reconsider its decision. The federation is making all efforts to ensure the athletes can represent India at the U-23 World Championships.
