Arunachal Pradesh minister Balo Raja stated that India is very strong and its intelligence capabilities have significantly improved, referencing the spy thriller 'Dhurandhar'. He questioned why a senior officer like ITBP chief Shatrujeet Singh Kapur would make remarks suggesting weakness amid continuing face-offs with Chinese forces. Kapur's reported comments on ongoing confrontations and the need for modernisation had sparked political controversy. The Ministry of External Affairs previously clarified that border situations are occasionally disturbed by Chinese forces deviating from patrolling patterns.
