Neeru Dhanda has become the first Indian woman to win an individual gold medal at the ongoing Asian Games, achieving this feat in the trap shooting final on Tuesday. The 26-year-old athlete from Jind, Haryana, secured the top position by shooting 28 out of 30 targets, setting a new Asian record. This victory makes her only the second Indian individual gold medallist in trap shooting at the Asian Games. Dhanda's win follows her recent success at the Lonato World Cup, where she also won gold.
