The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is deploying autorickshaws to improve field operations and expedite the resolution of civic complaints. The civic body is leasing three-wheelers, prioritizing electric models, to enable staff to reach complaint sites quickly, especially in congested areas. This initiative aims to overcome delays caused by larger vehicles in traffic. The autorickshaws will serve departments like water supply, central laboratory, and streetlights, and will also be available for emergency deployment.

अहमदाबाद म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (AMC) फील्ड ऑपरेशंस को बेहतर बनाने और नागरिक शिकायतों के समाधान में तेजी लाने के लिए ऑटो-रिक्शा तैनात कर रहा है। नागरिक निकाय कर्मचारियों को शिकायत स्थलों पर जल्दी पहुंचने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए तीन-पहिया वाहनों को पट्टे पर ले रहा है, जिसमें इलेक्ट्रिक मॉडल को प्राथमिकता दी जा रही है, खासकर भीड़भाड़ वाले इलाकों में। इस पहल का उद्देश्य यातायात में बड़े वाहनों के कारण होने वाली देरी को दूर करना है। ऑटो-रिक्शा जल आपूर्ति, केंद्रीय प्रयोगशाला और स्ट्रीटलाइट जैसे विभागों की सेवा करेंगे, और आपातकालीन तैनाती के लिए भी उपलब्ध रहेंगे।
