This decision aims to extend the ecotourism season and boost revenue, supporting livelihoods linked to wildlife tourism. The state has also extended the closing date to the end of June, depending on monsoon forecasts. Uttar Pradesh boasts four tiger reserves and 26 wildlife sanctuaries, including several bird sanctuaries, offering diverse wildlife experiences.
