The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has approved ₹247.13 crore for horticulture and environmental projects over three financial years, aiming to bolster water conservation and increase green cover. The funds will support initiatives like pond rejuvenation, rainwater harvesting, treated wastewater reuse, and the development of green spaces. Officials presented project details for the period between 2024-25 and September 2026, with specific allocations for each fiscal year. The MCG is also focused on removing encroachments around ponds and expanding its network for treated wastewater usage in parks.

गुरुग्राम नगर निगम (MCG) ने बागवानी और पर्यावरण परियोजनाओं के लिए ₹247.13 करोड़ मंजूर किए हैं, जो तीन वित्तीय वर्षों में जल संरक्षण को बढ़ावा देने और हरित आवरण बढ़ाने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं। यह राशि तालाबों के जीर्णोद्धार, वर्षा जल संचयन, उपचारित अपशिष्ट जल के पुन: उपयोग और हरित स्थानों के विकास जैसी पहलों का समर्थन करेगी। अधिकारियों ने 2024-25 और सितंबर 2026 के बीच की अवधि के लिए परियोजना विवरण प्रस्तुत किए, जिसमें प्रत्येक वित्तीय वर्ष के लिए विशिष्ट आवंटन शामिल हैं। MCG तालाबों के आसपास अतिक्रमण हटाने और पार्कों में उपचारित अपशिष्ट जल के उपयोग के लिए अपने नेटवर्क का विस्तार करने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहा है।
