The Hindu · india

The Kerala government has informed the High Court that new Anti-Ragging and Student Welfare Guidelines have been drafted to prevent ragging and ensure a healthy campus environment. These guidelines, drawn up following a High Court directive, aim to clarify student and institutional responsibilities and establish a robust complaint mechanism. They define ragging broadly, including digital forms, and outline punishments as per the 1998 Act, with dismissal and a three-year ban from other institutions for offenders.
