Union Minister Chirag Paswan stated that while protests are a part of democracy, they should not inconvenience the public. He emphasized that solutions arise from dialogue, not disruption, urging protestors to engage with the Chief Election Commissioner directly. Paswan also noted that Delhi Police denied permission for a CJP protest at Jantar Mantar due to late application and past non-compliance. The police cited public safety and law and order concerns, invoking Section 163 of the BNSS. They warned of legal action against any violations.

केंद्रीय मंत्री चिराग पासवान ने कहा कि विरोध प्रदर्शन लोकतंत्र का हिस्सा हैं, लेकिन इससे आम जनता को परेशानी नहीं होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि समाधान बातचीत से निकलता है, बाधा डालने से नहीं, और प्रदर्शनकारियों से सीधे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त से बात करने का आग्रह किया। पासवान ने यह भी बताया कि दिल्ली पुलिस ने जंतर मंतर पर सीजेपी के विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति देर से आवेदन और पिछली बार नियमों का पालन न करने के कारण नहीं दी थी। पुलिस ने जन सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था की चिंताओं का हवाला देते हुए BNSS की धारा 163 का उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने किसी भी उल्लंघन के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी।
