Conservation officers in British Columbia have confirmed that a mother and her 20-year-old daughter were killed in a grizzly bear attack. The two women, Jenny Balcarras and Selah Reed, were reported missing over the weekend and their remains were found near a trail close to their home in Bella Coola. Authorities are investigating the possibility that more than one grizzly bear was involved in the fatal incident. This tragic event has deeply affected the local community, which had previously experienced a grizzly bear attack earlier in the year.
