Manipur Violence: Sit-ins & Cease-Work Mark 3rd Day of Protest Amid Ethnic Clashes

Protests intensified in Manipur on Thursday with sit-ins and a mass cease-work call following two days of street demonstrations against the killing of three Meitei farmers. The violence escalated after a Kuki man was killed and houses were burned, days after three Meiteis died in an ambush. This incident marks the first major clash between Meiteis and Kukis since July. Protesters are demanding the arrest of those responsible for the killings, refusing to claim the bodies until justice is served.
