The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) plans to designate 250 parks exclusively for women and children across the city's wards. This initiative follows recent crimes against women, including a gang-rape incident in south Delhi's Aastha Kunj Park. Each park will feature female guards at entrances, CCTV surveillance, open gym facilities, and separate washrooms. The MCD aims to enhance women's safety and comfort in public spaces, addressing concerns about security lapses in existing parks. Officials will survey sites to identify suitable locations for these dedicated parks.

दिल्ली नगर निगम (MCD) शहर के वार्डों में महिलाओं और बच्चों के लिए विशेष रूप से 250 पार्क बनाने की योजना बना रहा है। यह कदम हाल ही में महिलाओं के खिलाफ हुए अपराधों के बाद उठाया गया है, जिसमें दक्षिण दिल्ली के आस्था कुंज पार्क में एक गैंगरेप की घटना भी शामिल है। हर पार्क में प्रवेश द्वारों पर महिला गार्ड, CCTV निगरानी, ओपन जिम की सुविधा और अलग वॉशरूम होंगे। MCD का लक्ष्य सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर महिलाओं की सुरक्षा और आराम बढ़ाना है, साथ ही मौजूदा पार्कों में सुरक्षा की कमी की चिंताओं को दूर करना है। अधिकारी इन समर्पित पार्कों के लिए उपयुक्त स्थानों की पहचान करने के लिए स्थलों का सर्वेक्षण करेंगे।
