Kolkata Tree Ambulance Removes 25 Illegal Boards Nailed by Advertisers

Kolkata Municipal Corporation's tree ambulance is actively removing nails and illegal boards inserted by advertisers into full-grown trees in the city's Central Business District. Last month, the service freed 25 trees on Middleton Row alone from advertisements for paying guest houses and tutorial centres. The KMC has warned advertisers that trees are not billboards and are suffering from this practice.
