DMK Demands Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's Removal

डीएमके पार्टी ने चेन्नई में एक अहम बैठक की, जिसमें चार प्रस्ताव पारित किए गए। एक मुख्य मांग मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ग्यानेश कुमार को तुरंत हटाने की है, जिसमें SIR प्रक्रिया के दौरान अन्य आयुक्तों की आपत्तियों को नजरअंदाज करने के आरोप लगाए गए हैं। पार्टी ने SIR को पूरी तरह रद्द करने और EVM के बजाय मतपत्रों से मतदान बहाल करने की भी मांग की। इसके अलावा, डीएमके ने चुनावी अनियमितताओं को दूर करने के लिए भारत के राष्ट्रपति को एक याचिका सौंपने का प्रस्ताव पारित किया और कांग्रेस तथा TVK के कथित दोहरे मापदंडों की निंदा की।
