Keralam Officer Probed After Tobacco Seized From Station

A police officer in Keralam is under investigation after seven bags of banned tobacco products, seized on June 7, were stolen from the Sultan Bathery police station. Senior Civil Police Officer Sabith is suspected of the theft and has been untraceable since the incident. The tobacco was stored in an evidence room after being produced before a Magistrate Court. Officials discovered the theft on September 10, and CCTV footage allegedly shows Sabith removing the products.
