Renault CEO Predicts Strong Hybrids Will Match CNG Market Share in India

Renault Group India's CEO, Stephane Deblaise, anticipates strong hybrid vehicles will eventually capture at least the same market share as CNG cars in India. He highlighted that hybrids offer reduced fuel consumption and emissions without requiring external charging, providing an electric driving experience without battery electric vehicle constraints. While hybrids currently hold a smaller market share than CNG, Deblaise believes their growth is possible with more automakers adopting the technology and government incentives.
