IIT-B Faculty Support Suspended Professor Amid Student Death

IIT Bombay's Faculty Forum has supported Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, clarifying he has not been suspended but temporarily relieved of Dean duties for an unbiased probe into a student's September 18 death. The forum stated that false reports have damaged Doolla's reputation before facts are established. They expressed sadness over the student's death, emphasizing the need for compassion and fairness during investigations. The forum comprises around 750 faculty members.

आईआईटी बॉम्बे के फैकल्टी फोरम ने प्रोफेसर सूर्य नारायण डोला का समर्थन किया है। उन्होंने साफ किया कि प्रोफेसर डोला को निलंबित नहीं किया गया है, बल्कि 18 सितंबर को एक छात्र की मौत की निष्पक्ष जांच के लिए उन्हें डीन के पद से अस्थायी रूप से हटाया गया है। फोरम ने कहा कि तथ्य सामने आने से पहले ही झूठी खबरों से डोला की छवि खराब हुई है।
