Filmmaker Aanand Mahendroo has shared insights into Shah Rukh Khan's early career aspirations, recalling how the actor turned down an offer for an intellectual film. Khan reportedly stated his disinterest in such roles, expressing a clear desire to become a star. Mahendroo also recounted Khan's early days in Delhi, describing him as uninhibited and clear about his career goals. This contrasts with a recollection by Karan Johar, who initially perceived Khan as arrogant. Despite his stardom, Khan maintained a good relationship with Mahendroo, even appearing in his TV show 'Rajani'.
