The ancestral home of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Agra underwent a religious purification ceremony following a protest by Congress workers. The demonstration involved activists blackening the house's gate and walls with spray paint, labelling it 'vote chor' and 'gaddar'. In response, women carried out a Kalash Yatra, sprinkling Ganga water and reciting Sundarkand. The event was organized by the Vijayanagar Colony Mahila Mandal and Akhil Bhartiya Mathur Vaishya Mahasabha.

आगरा में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान‌ेश कुमार के पैतृक घर में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद एक धार्मिक शुद्धिकरण समारोह आयोजित किया गया। प्रदर्शन में कार्यकर्ताओं ने घर के गेट और दीवारों पर स्प्रे पेंट से 'वोट चोर' और 'गद्दार' लिखकर काला कर दिया था। इसके जवाब में महिलाओं ने कलश यात्रा निकाली, गंगा जल छिड़का और सुंदरकांड का पाठ किया। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन विजयनगर कॉलोनी महिला मंडल और अखिल भारतीय माथुर वैश्य महासभा ने किया था।
