Gurugram: 25,000 Property Registrations Under One PAN Card, Rs 55,000 Crore Deals Under Scanner

An Income Tax Department survey in Gurugram's Badshahpur tehsil has uncovered discrepancies in records for approximately 25,000 properties, bringing deals worth Rs 55,000 crore under scrutiny. Investigations revealed the alleged use of a single PAN number in numerous land registries over the past two years. A seven-member team has been formed to meticulously examine the records at the tehsil office. The department had previously not received information on deals worth Rs 15,000 crore related to about 12,000 properties, indicating potential undeclared transactions or incorrect PAN details.

गुरुग्राम के बादशाहपुर तहसील में इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट के सर्वे में करीब 25,000 प्रॉपर्टी के रिकॉर्ड में गड़बड़ी का पता चला है, जिससे 55,000 करोड़ रुपये के सौदे जांच के दायरे में आ गए हैं। जांच में पता चला कि पिछले दो सालों में कई जमीन की रजिस्ट्री में एक ही पैन नंबर का इस्तेमाल किया गया है। तहसील ऑफिस में रिकॉर्ड की बारीकी से जांच के लिए सात सदस्यों की एक टीम बनाई गई है। इससे पहले, विभाग को करीब 12,000 प्रॉपर्टी से संबंधित 15,000 करोड़ रुपये के सौदों की जानकारी नहीं मिली थी, जो संभावित अघोषित लेनदेन या गलत पैन विवरण का संकेत देता है।
