Shinde Camp Defends EC Test in Real Sena

The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction defended the Election Commission's decision to recognise it as the 'real' Shiv Sena before the Supreme Court. Senior advocate Neeraj Kishan Kaul argued the EC can examine a party's constitution and organisational structure under Article 324 to determine authenticity. He stated the EC's organisational majority test is valid as the party's cadre and grassroots workers are its lifeblood.

एकनाथ शिंदे गुट ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चुनाव आयोग के फैसले का बचाव किया है। आयोग ने शिंदे गुट को असली 'शिवसेना' माना था। वरिष्ठ वकील नीरज किशन कौल ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग पार्टी के संविधान और संगठन की जांच कर सकता है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जमीनी कार्यकर्ता ही पार्टी की जान होते हैं, इसलिए संगठनात्मक बहुमत का परीक्षण सही है।
