Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico has garnered significant support from Indian-American voters after a video showed him expertly making a masala dosa during his campaign. The act, performed at Madira N Masala, was widely applauded by the community, who felt it was a genuine gesture of cultural appreciation rather than pandering. Supporters believe this outreach could be crucial in a state where elections are often decided by slim margins. Talarico is currently leading Republican Ken Paxton by 49% to 47% in recent polls.
