Rosatom Supplies Safety Systems For Kudankulam Nuclear Plant Units 3 & 4

Russia's Rosatom Automated Control Systems has completed the supply of engineered safety features actuation system computerised subsystems for units 3 and 4 of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu. Approximately 300 equipment items were delivered, including four sets of ESFAS CS for each unit. The ESFAS monitors power unit parameters and automatically initiates safety systems in case of accidents to prevent beyond-design-basis events. This delivery marks another step in equipping the units with Russian automation and safety systems, with installation and testing to follow.

रूस की Rosatom Automated Control Systems ने तमिलनाडु के कुडनकुलम परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र की यूनिट 3 और 4 के लिए इंजीनियर्ड सेफ्टी फीचर्स एक्चुएशन सिस्टम कंप्यूटराइज्ड सबसिस्टम की सप्लाई पूरी कर ली है। लगभग 300 उपकरण आइटम डिलीवर किए गए, जिसमें हर यूनिट के लिए ESFAS CS के चार सेट शामिल हैं। ESFAS पावर यूनिट के पैरामीटर्स की निगरानी करता है और दुर्घटनाओं की स्थिति में डिजाइन-आधारित घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा सिस्टम को स्वचालित रूप से शुरू करता है। यह डिलीवरी यूनिट्स को रूसी ऑटोमेशन और सुरक्षा प्रणालियों से लैस करने की दिशा में एक और कदम है, जिसके बाद इंस्टॉलेशन और टेस्टिंग होगी।
