Her project, ALKACORE, combines seaweed cultivation with natural aragonite to increase seawater alkalinity and reduce carbon dioxide levels. Doshi's work was recognized at the 2026 3M Young Scientist Challenge, where she competed against nine other finalists. Her system aims to provide a low-cost, durable solution for coastal communities facing the damaging effects of acidification on marine life and shells.
