TATA Motors Sells Over 2 Lakh Cars in Q2, Tata Punch Leads SUV Sales

Tata Motors reported strong sales figures for September, selling 68,810 cars, a 15.32% year-on-year increase. The company sold over 2 lakh cars in the last quarter, with domestic and export sales combined reaching 2,01,723 units. According to MD and CEO Shailesh Chandra, the Tata Punch was the best-selling SUV in India during this period. Electric vehicle sales also saw a significant jump, with 15,384 units sold in September, contributing to EVs and CNG vehicles making up approximately 51% of total sales in the last quarter.
