Olympic Champion Khelif to Make Professional Boxing Debut in Paris

Algerian Olympic boxing champion Imane Khelif will make her professional debut in Paris on December 15 against Clarida Sarabia. This marks her return to competition after more than two years, with her last appearance being at the Paris Olympics in 2024 where she won welterweight gold. A training injury had previously postponed her planned April return. Khelif has secured a professional license from the French Boxing Federation and is embarking on a new career phase. Her coach believes she could contend for a world title within a few professional fights.
