A post alleged that Vihan is Abhijit's cousin and that the grandmother who passed away was Vihan's, not Abhijit's. Abhijit Dipke has clarified on X that Vihan is his nephew, not cousin. He also stated that his own grandmother had passed away earlier. The controversy arose when Dipke was in police custody in Delhi, the same day his grandmother reportedly passed away in Hingoli, Maharashtra.
